What We Believe
The Word of God
Plantation Baptist Church is a local, Independent, Fundamental, Biblical, Baptist Church. We are a diverse body of born again believers, baptized by immersion, whose mission it is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the World.
We are conservative in doctrine and traditional in worship. We believe that the entire Bible is the absolute and divinely inspired Word of God. All of it is taught and preached as truth and is applicable to today’s everyday life. In our worship services, we sing the great hymns of the faith and gospel songs that speak to the heart.
Our desire is that you would sense the presence of the Lord as you enter our doors and that you would know the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour.
- The Bible, God’s Word, is absolutely true and is the foundation for life.
- Every person is a sinner and needs salvation.
- God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins on the cross and is the only way of salvation.
- People must be born again by trusting Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour.
- The Christian’s responsibility is to obey God and know the joy of serving Him with his life.
