At Plantation Baptist Church we welcome new people! Our desire is that you would feel at home the moment you step through our front door.

1. How do I find the church?
Plantation Baptist Church is located near the Sawgrass Mills Mall in the northern end of the Plantation Acres neighborhood. At the intersection of Sunrise Blvd and 118th Ave head north on 118th Ave and follow it about 1.5 miles until it dead-ends at 28th Court. Take a right (east) on 28th Court and go about 100 yards. The Church will be on your right.                                                            For Google maps directions click here.

3. What should I expect in the Sunday Morning Worship Service?
Plantation Baptist Church is a friendly and diverse family of believers. We love the Lord and we love people. As you enter our building, you will be met with a smile by one of our greeters and they will answer any questions that you may have. Please feel free to take an information packet from our Welcome Center. Ushers are available to help you find a seat in the sanctuary.

The Sunday morning service begins promptly at 11:00 and dismisses around 12:15. In our worship services we sing the great songs of the faith from hymnals and enjoy beautiful music from our choir and musical groups. Our “worship style” would be considered traditional. The center-point of our service is the preaching of the Word of God by Pastor Hunter. The Gospel of Jesus Christ and the doctrines of God’s Word are preached in the power of the Spirit of God.

The sermon will conclude with an “Invitation”, in which Pastor Hunter will give people an opportunity to come forward for a few moments of prayer or spiritual direction. If you would like to become a christian, make a spiritual decision, or become a member of the church, this is the perfect opportunity! Simply step from your seat into the aisle and make your way to the front, where you will be greeted by one of our counselors.

4. What’s here for my kids on Sunday mornings?
At every church service there are safe, clean, and well staffed nurseries for children 2 years old and under. For the infants, mothers will receive a pager so that the nursery attendants can easily contact them if there is a need. Children’s classes for 2&3 year olds and 4&5 year olds are offered during the morning worship service and during our Sunday evening service.

Children in first grade and above begin in their Junior Church meeting room, where they are taught a Bible lesson on their level. Parents can pick up their children at the Junior Church room following the service. If you need help, our greeters will be able to guide you to the nursery and children’s classes.

5. How should I dress?
There is not a dress code at Plantation Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Plantation Baptist.

6. Am I expected to participate in the offering?
No. We don’t invite you to Plantation Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God’s Word, and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
